Minutes of the ST-testbeam run, July 5th, 2004. - Next meeting will be at 15:00, Tuesday, July 6th. Summary from Sunday till Monday 8am: - beam conditions did not improve during Sunday, as a consequence, the data taking efficiency is only ~50%. - Initial HV & delay scans have been completed, analysis is in progress. First preliminary conclusions: - We need to be able to set the HV for the irradiated sensor to higher values than is possible with the regular power supply, therefore we will switch from the computer-controlled supply to a manually controlled supply. - From the delay-time scan analysis it is concluded that the outer two points (84ns and 126ns) can be dropped for future scans. - The sampling point of the Beetle1.2, reading out the CMS reference sensor, may be off. Plans: For Monday: - finish preliminary analysis of HV & delay time scans - switch power supply of irradiated sensor - cross-check the timing of the sampling point of the reference CMS ladder. For Wednesday: - try to implement the cooling fan into the measurement box. In case there is sufficient time, we can then also take data with the 30-year irradiated sensor. For any day before the end of our testbeam period: Measure the jitter from the trigger. Regards, Johan
