Minutes of the July 6th 15:00 meeting Actions undertaken since the last meeting: - the HV scan has been partially completed: unfortunately, due to the break-down of the septum magnet, we were unable to finish the HV scan. Especially, two points (below and on the plateau) of the irradiated LHCb-1 sensor are still missing. - the LHCb-1-irradiated sensor has been connected to a new HV power supply. - In a test, we noticed that the irradiated sensor draws close to 3.5mA at 450 Volts. It seems though, that the current readings from this power supply do not quite agree with the ones from the EHQ module. - The timing of the Beetle1.2 and 1.3 has been confirmed to be correct and in sync. The program for coming beam period (July 7 ?): - when there is beam, the HV scan will be completed. (At the expected particle rate and the number of events per point, this is expected to take most of the nightshift.) - After the HV scan has been completed, the sampling point of the ADC can be adjusted such that the ADC samples on the plateau, rather then on the edge of the Beetle signal. - Continue with the 'reduced' measurement. Helge has outlined the measurement program on the spread-sheet, and shifters are urged to follow the order of the program, and to fill out the sheet! Cheers, Johan
